Materials such as oak wood, natural stones, leather, glass, brass, linen and wool, which are characteristic for the region, were used in a modern desing language.
A very special detail is the wall installation in the bedroom: Two more than 200 years old oak timber trusses, originally inserted in the gable roof of the main building, were deliberately restored and transformed into a modern piece of art. At the same time they are a contemporary witness of the farmstead Haus Berghoff, originally mentioned in 1599 for the first time.
The Sauerland is a source of power and region with many facets, a picturesque landscape with forests, valleys, meadows, grindles and lakes. Find inspiration and relaxation within the nature of the Sauerland in the Sauerland Atelier-Suite.
